Ran across this site and had to post. Amazing images and information put up on the web by Cornell University Library. Enjoy or flinch - your call.

Oh, where have I been?

The month of May and into June has made me delirious with the amount of things going on; I took time off work to fix up my yard a bit. June always brings many family commitments in the form of wicked children's parties, fence painting parties, birthdays, and time consuming projects. I also started work on a Zen Garden for my love.

Oh, and my dad decided to climb a wet ladder and managed to bust up his leg real good. He ended up needing a lot from me. It happened to be at a moment in my life where I was able to give time, many car rides, some level of comfort and well, just enough to help him keep his head together. He will be turning 80 this month and its got me thinking. He has experienceded so much in his life.

Me? I just.......haven't. I have not yet taken advantage of life enough.

These thoughts have something to do with my Fathers war time but they haven't yet dug an identifiable pattern in my brain yet. Ill just leave you with a image of a young man I've only seen in photos and in half remembered stories.

Peace
Paul

You get your good looks and charm from him Honey! He was a handsome young soldier and is a handsome old fella now. He doesn't look 80! He just acts like it sometimes like when he decides to climb up on wet ladders. You know something that you give that really helped him and helps me daily is your humor. I know I have told you that before. But geez you make us all laugh!
